At about 8 on Monday morning, the Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode
came down from his car to help in the rescue of an auto crash victim.
The young woman identified as Anukam Angela was driving a Toyota Corolla
when she lost control of the car and ran into the median of the road
along Osborne Road, Ikoyi, before the car somersaulted.
The Governor who was on his way to the office on seeing the accident, ordered his convoy to stop at the scene to assist the victims involved.
Ambode asked the ambulance attached to his convoy to take the victims to the Lagos Island General hospital.
Angela's sister confirmed that she was treated for minor injuries free and discharged on the order of the governor.
