Policewoman Arrested For Death Of Her Husband

The police have arrested a female policewoman identified as Helen for allegedly killing her husband Mr Kelechi in Delta state. The couple had been separated for a while due to unresolved issues between them. Their daughter had been in the mother's custody since they went their separate ways.
It was reported that Kelechi decided to visit his daughter which brought him to the village where he met his wife. Helen showed her disapproval of the visit as she got the attention of the neighbourhood shouting that Kelechi wanted to kidnap her daughter.
This infuriated the youths in the village that ganged up to beat Kelechi mercilessly which eventually led to his death. Reports had it that, the village was in complete disarray because people ran from their homes as they feared that the policemen will arrest everybody within the area of the incident.
The state Police Public Relations Officer Celestina Kalu, affirmed that Helen has been detained with her perpetrators in the murder of the policeman while other investigation is still on going.
