On Saturday, at about few minutes to 4pm two innocent lives were taken by a tipper while they were crossing the road in Sango-Ota.
According to the Unit Commander of FRSC, Mr Olonisaye Olufemi said the tipper was coming from Abeokuta to Lagos road when its brake failed and ran into three pedestrians.
The victims were rushed to the State Hospital in Ota for a quick medical attention but two of the victims did not survive the accident.
The Unit Commander urged tipper drivers to adhere strictly to speed limit of 50km per hour on the road and ensure their vehicles are in proper state before they ply the road.According to the Unit Commander of FRSC, Mr Olonisaye Olufemi said the tipper was coming from Abeokuta to Lagos road when its brake failed and ran into three pedestrians.

Pedestrians were also advised to be very careful whenever they want to cross the road to reduce loss of lives on the road.
