Patience Jonathan To Vacate Her Position As President Of African First Ladies

The loss of the presidential election has started making some changes with the wife of the president Mrs Dame Patience Jonathan.

She was elected as the African First Lady President in Abuja on the 12th of July 2012 and her tenure will expire by July 2015.
However, she has been told to quit the position because she will cease to be Nigeria's President's wife from 29th of May when President Goodluck Jonathan will hand over power to General Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Punch, Mrs Jonathan has summoned an emergency summit of the mission for May 15 for the purpose of electing her successor. She also explained that she will make sure there won't be absence of Leadership in the organisation as it was in 2010.
