Mother Deported With 5 Year Old Son Ordered To Return To UK
Five year old Young Rafeeq Atanda is a disabled child that was forcefully deported with his mother from the UK some months ago.
The British-Nigerian boy and his mother Bola were deported even after years of appealing for her son to stay in UK.
According to The Independent (UK), the Home Office has been ordered to arrange for the deported family to be returned to Britain from Nigeria in a landmark ruling that threatens to undermine the Government's 'deport first, appeal later' policy.
Asylum campaigners and children's charity have welcomed the ruling, which could have major implications for the way in which scores of children and their parents are deported from the UK every year.
