Lady Dies After Fighting Over Boyfriend in Bauchi

A 28 year old lady identified as Iklima Alhassan paid her boyfriend, Nasiru, a visit at Rafin Makaranta area, behind Awala Hotel in Bauchi.
Sadly, Iklima met another lady, Fatima Baba Isa, 22, in her boyfriend’s house which led to an ugly situation as both ladies engaged in a physical combat.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, on the 9th day of August, the body of a young lady was found along Maiduguri by-pass, near Awalah Roundabout, Bauchi. The patrol team rushed the victim to ATBU Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, where she was confirmed dead on the arrival by a medical doctor and the corpse was placed in the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
The police have arrested Nasiru Usman Banki, and the other lady over the death of his girlfriend in Bauchi to assist the Police with useful information that could help verify the cause of her death.
