Yesterday, 4 people got injured while 2 were beheaded when they were attacked on their farms in Anambra East Local Government Area.
It was gathered that the suspected assailants from ibaji in Kogi State took the farmers unawares as they descended on most of them by killing and leaving most of people wounded.
The injured persons were rushed to the hospital in Onitsha for medical attention.
The sad news has thrown members of Aguleri into a panic state as most of them fear that their family members were victims of the attack. Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma, confirmed the incident, saying his men and the Kogi State Police Command had stepped in to stop the conflict.
