Motorcyclists Deface VIO Office In Ibadan Due To Loss Of Colleague

Yesterday, some Vehicle Inspection Officers, VIO contributed to the death of an Okada rider who fell under an on coming trailer that crushed his head immediately.
The incident occurred because some of the officials were chasing a commercial cab for disobeying traffic rules. It was reported that the cab driver hit the motorcyclist and his brains littered the road.

It prompted other okada riders who ganged up and marched to the office of the VIO demanding for justice. They lost their temper by breaking windows with  broken bottles and destroyed other valuables. The intervention of the security men reduced the tension of the incident that might have gotten out of hand.
The Police men were able to arrest some of the people involved in the protest.
