Japan Opens World's First Robot Hotel

When you visit a hotel and the receptionist that attends to you is a robot, then you should begin to fear for your job.
This is the case of a five-star Japanese hotel known as Henn-na Hotel which means 'Strange Hotel'.
The Hotel started operating this week with visitors being attended to by high tech robots that are able  to engage in intelligent conversations and cart luggage to the hotel's 72 rooms, staff luggage lockers and clean.
The hotel is currently in its first phase. A second stage is due to be completed in 2016 adding an additional 72 rooms.
In the future, the hotel owner is  hoping to build 1,000 similar hotels around the world according to Japan's Nikkei News.
Also, Guestroom doors are accessed by facial-recognition technology and instead of air-conditioning, a radiation panel will detect body heat in rooms and adjust the temperature.
