Federal Government Declares Friday And Monday Public Holidays For Eid-el-Fitr



The federal government has declared the 17th and 20th July, 2015 as public holidays to mark the Id-El-Fitr celebration.
The permanent secretary, Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji, who made the declaration on behalf of the federal government, advised all Muslims to continue the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, which include love, peace and sacrifice for the development of the nation.
He also urged Nigerians to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in his efforts towards building a peaceful, united and vibrant nation.
Mr. Magaji also urged all Nigerians, both at home and abroad to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity across the nation.
He wished Nigerians a happy and joyous Id-El-Fitr celebration.
