On Sunday, a small child named Opeyemi went missing during a naming ceremony at Akorode Estate, Mile 2 in Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State.
It was reported that, the mother of the child Mrs. Elizabeth Ogundele came out of the house after preparing for the naming ceremony when she found out her son was not among his peers.
She raised the alarm immediately she noticed the absence of her son. During the search, she observed two men looking suspicious and alerted other residents but the men took to their heels immediately they saw people coming to their side.
She narrated that one of them was caught and taken to the police station for questioning.It was reported that, the mother of the child Mrs. Elizabeth Ogundele came out of the house after preparing for the naming ceremony when she found out her son was not among his peers.

Further investigations revealed that, the owner of the building who is identified as Chief Olasile Ifayemi had been using the building for rituals. Residents of the area clustered the building, throwing out several items in front of the house.
According to THIS DAY, human parts and other fetish items were discovered in the house.
The policemen had to stop the furious youths in the area who were ready to burn the building to ashes.
The state Police Commissioner, Abdulmajid Ali, confirmed the incident and urged the members of the community that a proper investigation has commenced on the missing child.
