23-Year-Old Bread Seller Raped, Murdered In Benin

A 23-year-old-woman identified as Joy Okoh was kidnapped, raped and murdered in Benin, Edo State and her body was dumped in the boot of an SUV at Upper Mission Extension in the state capital. It was gathered that the deceased, who was said to be a bread seller at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park was alleged to have finished for the day’s business at 7.30p.m., when she was abducted.

It was also reported that the car was stolen by the gunmen, used for the act and abandoned.

The incident was reported to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Onwuchei who confirmed the story, said the police have started investigation into the case.
