President Jonathan Packs Belongings from Aso Rock


With 13 more days remaining for the administration of Mr President and the May 29 handover date fast approaching, President Goodluck Jonathan and his family have packed out all their belongings from Aso Rock.
According to THISDAY, what Jonathan and his family still have in Aso Rock are few hand luggage that could be carried on the morning of May 29.
Reports also revealed that the out-going President has since moved on from his defeat in the Presidential election and has planned his activities after May 29 which includes playing the role of a global statesman by benefitting from the huge boost in his ratings as a result of his conceding defeat by calling his opponent, Muhammadu Buhari before the final election results.

Reports have it that the President has not been a free man in the last 16 years because he has been working in the last 16 years from Deputy Governor, to Governor, to Vice-president and eventually the President of Nigeria with all the complexities. His itinerary as revealed, includes a tour of some African countries, earthquake devasted Nepal, a trip he is said to have planned before the earthquake and a medical check-up in Germany.
THISDAY also gathered that Jonathan plans to document his challenges and triumph in government. The President would commence work on the book when he returns from the trip abroad.
It was also reported that when Jonathan returns from abroad, the rebuilding of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party will be top on his agenda.
