I Went Into Theft To Seek My Career In Football - Suspect



Two robbery suspects were arrested by the Anti-Robbery Squad Lagos State for reportedly robbing residents and passengers.
Stanley Okorie 20 and Emmanuel Enu 25 were caught during an operation at Satellite Town and Ajegunle in Lagos.
Enu who is from Cross River was arrested with a locally made gun and a cartridge while a toy gun was recovered from Okorie.
Enu confessed that he is a son of a retired Naval officer and he went into robbery to raise money to travel to Sweden to pursue football career.
Okorie, an indigene of Delta State, who was arrested along the Satellite expressway, said Chijioke taught him how to rob.
According to him, he was a commercial driver and Chijioke asked him to join the gang when he asked for assistance. He said he needed the money to pay for house rent.
He also confessed that he has gone for about four operations at Igando and Agbara areas. When they robbed at Igando, he got N13, 000, took three phones and N15,000. They also carried out operation at Agbara and realised N25,000. They made the highest money at Lekki when they realised N780,000.
