Yesterday around 12 noon just after church service, a young man was shot and macheted by suspected cultists at Edward Ujege Street, High Level in Makurdi, Benue State.
It was gathered that six boys in their twenties attacked the victim with machetes and shot him in the face, afterwhich they took off, leaving the young man in the pool of his blood.
Passersby then rushed in to help the victim while some others alerted the police who came after a while and rushed the him to a nearby hospital.
