Commercial Driver Collapse and Dies At Filling Station In Ibadan


The ceaseless fuel scarcity has acheived its first disaster as a commercial driver died in Ibadan, Oyo State. It was gathered, that the driver, had on Monday evening slumped and died while waiting to buy petrol at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) mega station along Iwo-Ojo road.
Reports said the commercial driver who frequents on the route of Ibadan-Lagos expressway had joined other motorists on the queue at the filling station until around 6.15pm when the incident happened.
According to an eye witness, the deceased had jumped down to open the vehicle’s tank to be filled when suddenly he slumped and died. He was said to have died before any medical assistance could get to him. 
The incident was said to have thrown the place to chaos and confusion as people hurriedly left with their vehicles.
