History will be made in Taraba state as Senator Jummai Al Hassan might be the first female governor in Nigeria's history. Although INEC has not officially announced the results of the gubernatorial elections which took place yesterday, many sources are reporting that the female Senator in APC, Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan is leading the race in Taraba. If she eventually wins, this will make her the first elected female Governor in Nigeria’s history! We wish her all the best.
